Born and raised in California, Jill Powell’s love for all things beauty and fashion started at an early age. Little did she know that the demand for her to do her friends’ hair and makeup while in high school and college would lead to a successful career as a professional makeup artist.

With over twenty years in the beauty industry, Jill is a highly sought-after makeup artist known for creating flawless skin and glamorous looks for her clients. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the interaction between lighting and makeup creates memorable looks in all settings, whether red carpet, video, stage or editorial.

Jill works throughout the country and abroad on magazine shoots, press junkets, tours and red carpet events. She has worked with some of the best photographers in the business, including Dennis Leupold, Angelo Kritikos, Mike Rosenthal, Bleacher + Everard and John Russo. Jill’s celebrity clients include Demi Lovato, Olivia Culpo, Sir Ben Kingsley, Cassie, Olivia Holt, Lauren Jauregui, Matthew MacCaull, Sofia Carson, Sonia Ben Ammar, among others.

Jill is a visual person who loves to look at textures and colors, gaining inspiration from her surroundings and incorporating these experiences into her looks.

When not on set or on tour, Jill spends time at home in Southern California with her amazing husband and two wonderful children.
